El Michels Affair, Leon Bridges & Mari Froes at Madison Square Garden
El Michels Affair joins Leon Bridges and Mari Froes for a live concert at Madison Square Garden in New York on May 1, 2027. The event is listed in the Concerts category and R&B / Soul subcategory on ticketsinbrooklyn.com.
Led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Leon Michels, El Michels Affair is known for richly arranged, groove-focused music shaped by soul, funk, and cinematic influences. The group's instrumental sound provides a distinctive presence on a bill with singer-songwriter Leon Bridges and Brazilian artist Mari Froes. With three performers sharing the evening, the lineup brings together different approaches to soul and contemporary music; specific set times and opening-act details have not been provided.
Madison Square Garden's Midtown Manhattan location puts the show above Penn Station, with convenient access by train and subway. For visitors planning a night around the concert, the arena is also close to the restaurants and food options around Pennsylvania Plaza and Herald Square. Prices currently start around $120, with popular sections and closer seats potentially costing more.
Venue and Seating Information
Madison Square Garden has a circular, multi-level seating bowl divided into Floor, 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level sections. Concert layouts can vary, so check the event seating map before choosing seats.
For a balance of stage proximity and visibility, lower-bowl side sections near the center stage area are strong options. Central sections in the 200 Level can also offer a clear, elevated view of the full performance. Floor seats provide the closest experience, though standing crowds or production equipment may affect sightlines. Seats directly behind the stage and extreme upper-corner locations may have limited views depending on the setup.
Parking Information
On-site parking is limited around the arena, and nearby garages can fill quickly on event nights. Consider comparing rates and reserving a space in advance; prices depend on demand.
- Nearby commercial garages: Garages near Penn Station and 8th Avenue are generally a short walk from the venue. Event parking is approximately $30–$80, with higher prices possible during busy concerts.
- Garages toward Herald Square or Chelsea: These may be a 10–15-minute walk away and can cost around $20–$50, depending on demand.
- Street parking: Limited and subject to strict restrictions, making it an unreliable choice for event parking.
Avoid leaving parking until the last minute near the arena, when garages may be full or charge higher event rates. Rideshare users should also allow extra time for post-show congestion around Penn Station.
